Huntlee Subdivision

As part of the ongoing residential development at Huntlee in the Hunter Valley, Iconic Line Marking was engaged to deliver full road line marking across the subdivisions’s newly constructed road network. Having worked with the client on previous projects, our team was brought back to complete the marking phase on a fresh asphalt surface with no existing marking to work from.

The scope required a complete set-out of the road layout in accordance with the approved civil plans. On new subdivision work this stage carries this project – with no prior markings on the surface, every centreline, edge line and lane division had to be established from the plan and verified before any paint was applied. Our team work methodically through the set-out to ensure the finished layout matches the design exactly.

Longitudinal markings were then applied using our petrol-driven line marking machine, chosen for its consistency across long continuous runs. Subdivision roads often require unbroken lines over considerable distances and maintaining uniform line width and paint thickness across those runs is what separates a professional finish from a serviceable one. The works completed across two days during business hours, with no road closures or after-hour scheduling required.

The result is a fully marked road network ready for handover, delivered to plan and on schedule without any complications. The client – a returning customer – was pleased with the outcome, and we are proud to have contributed to a development that will serve the Hunter Valley residents for years to come.
