FAQ
FAQ
What types of surfaces can you apply line marking to?
We apply line marking to a variety of surfaces including concrete, asphalt, bitumen, and rubber. Our team uses specialised techniques and materials to ensure the markings adhere properly and last over time.
Do you offer line marking services for both residential and commercial properties?
Yes, we provide professional line marking solutions for both residential and commercial needs. From small driveways and private car parks to large warehouses, schools, and industrial sites, no job is too big or small.
What materials do you use for your line marking projects?
We use high-quality materials such as waterborne paint, solvent-based paint, thermoplastic, and cold-applied plastic (CAP). The choice of material depends on the surface, usage, and required durability.
How long does line marking take to dry and become usable?
Drying times can vary based on the material used and weather conditions. In most cases, paint dries within 30 minutes to 1 hour and is ready for light use soon after. Thermoplastic markings are ready almost immediately.
Can you work outside of business hours to avoid disruption?
Absolutely. We offer flexible scheduling and can complete work after-hours, on weekends, or during shutdown periods to minimise disruptions to your business or traffic flow.
How long do your markings typically last?
With proper surface preparation and quality materials, our line markings can last from 6 months to several years, depending on traffic volume, weather exposure, and maintenance.
Do you remove old or faded line markings?
Yes, we offer line marking removal services using methods such as grinding or high-pressure water blasting. We can also re-mark or redesign layouts for improved safety and flow.
What areas do you service?
We are based on the Central Coast and service Gosford, Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Taree, Tamworth, and surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether we service your location, feel free to get in touch.
What’s the difference between waterborne paint, thermoplastic, and CAP?
Waterborne paint is fast-drying and ideal for short-term or low-traffic areas. Thermoplastic is heat-applied, highly durable, and commonly used for roads and high-traffic zones. Cold Applied Plastic (CAP) is a long-lasting, chemical-cured alternative ideal for detailed or complex markings without heat application.
How often should line markings be reapplied or refreshed?
It depends on the location, traffic volume, and type of material used. High-traffic areas like car parks or roads may need refreshing every 12–24 months, while thermoplastic or CAP markings can last several years with minimal fading.
Can you help us plan the layout of a new car park or warehouse?
Yes, we offer layout consultation and planning services. Our team can visit your site, assess traffic flow, and design a layout that maximises efficiency, safety, and compliance with local standards.
Are your markings compliant with Australian standards and council regulations?
Absolutely. All of our markings follow current Australian standards and local council requirements. We stay up to date with safety and accessibility guidelines to ensure every project is fully compliant.
Do weather conditions affect when line marking can be done?
Yes, for optimal results, we need dry conditions and a suitable temperature range depending on the materials used. We closely monitor weather forecasts to schedule work at the best possible time and minimise delays.
Can you match existing line markings for repairs or touch-ups?
Yes, we can match your current markings in terms of layout, colour, and style. Whether you need a full refresh or selective repairs, we’ll ensure consistency across the entire surface.
